Do the downloadable Powerpoint templates off the Microsoft website for Powerpoint for Mac 2011 work with Powerpoint 2008 for Mac?
(In other words, if I download one today will it work on my older version of Office?)|||For the most part, yes. Templates that include macros (there aren't many templates that have them) won't work in PowerPoint 2008 because it does not have Visual Basic for Applications. 98% will work just fine.
